How to Judge the Quality of Paint Cans
Jul 01, 2026
1. Appearance and Sealing Inspection: High-quality cans have a uniform color, no rust or dents, smooth welds without burrs, and clear, unblurred printing on the can body; the lid should not easily sink when pressed, indicating a vacuum-sealed condition at the factory, and no leakage when inverted.
2. Material and Performance Verification: Metal cans are made of thickened tinplate/304 stainless steel, which is solvent-resistant and corrosion-resistant, and will not cause paint peeling or rust on the inner wall after long-term storage; plastic cans are made of food-grade HDPE, which is impact-resistant, odorless, and will not chemically react with paint.
3. Detailed Compliance Verification: Check the complete manufacturer's name and address, production date, and applicable standards on the packaging; shake the can without any abnormal "whooshing" sound; the matching sealing ring and handle are sturdy and durable, suitable for subsequent cleaning, maintenance, and reuse.
