How to Determine if a Glue Can is Suitable for High-Temperature Environments

1. Check Material Temperature Resistance Parameters: Ordinary plastic cans are only suitable for environments below 60℃. PP material can withstand around 100℃, 304 stainless steel can withstand temperatures above 200℃ for extended periods, and for fiberglass cans, ensure the stated long-term operating temperature is not lower than the operating temperature.

2. Simulate High-Temperature Operating Conditions Test: Place the empty can in an oven at the corresponding temperature for 2 hours. After removal, observe whether the can body shows deformation, bulging, or cracking, and whether the seals have softened or failed.

3. Verify Sealing Performance at High Temperatures: After filling with the medium at the corresponding temperature and sealing, place it in a set high-temperature environment and let it stand for 4 hours. Check the can opening and weld seams for leaks; if there is no abnormal pressure drop, it is considered qualified.

4. Confirm Structural Compatibility: Glue cans for high-temperature environments require high-temperature resistant silicone sealing rings. Ordinary rubber rings are prone to aging and embrittlement above 150℃, failing to guarantee long-term sealing performance.
