1. External inspection
Inspection frequency: It is recommended that external inspections be conducted at least once every 2 months, especially in winter, when the inspection frequency should be increased to once a month.
Inspection content: Check whether there is leakage at each sealing point, weld and tank body, and whether there is any abnormality in the tank foundation and appearance.
2. Internal inspection
Inspection frequency: It is recommended that internal inspections be conducted at least once every 3 years.
Inspection content: Focus on checking whether the coating inside the tank is peeling, peeling, cracking or discoloring, and check whether the tank wall and tank bottom are corroded or leaking.
3. Comprehensive inspection
Inspection frequency: It is recommended that comprehensive inspections be conducted at least once every 6 years.
Inspection content: Includes comprehensive external and internal inspections, and a detailed assessment of the integrity of the coating, the structural integrity of the tank body, and safety accessories.
4. Special circumstances
New oil tanks: The first inspection cycle of new oil tanks should not exceed 10 years.
Highly corrosive environment: If the oil tank is in a high humidity, high salt spray or highly corrosive gas environment, the inspection cycle should be appropriately shortened.
5. Daily maintenance
Monthly inspection: The manhole should be inspected once a month, and the oil measuring hole should be inspected before each use.
Accessory inspection: Safety accessories such as breathing valves, hydraulic safety valves, and flame arresters should be inspected once a month, and once a week in winter.
