Does the coating of F Style can need regular maintenance?
Mar 12, 2025
1. Regular inspection
Inspection frequency: For F Style can in harsh environment (such as coastal high salt fog environment or chemical zone highly corrosive gas environment), it is recommended to conduct coating inspection every quarter or half a year.
Inspection content: Focus on checking whether the coating has peeling, peeling, cracking or discoloration. If the coating is damaged, it should be repaired in time.
2. Repair measures
Surface treatment: Before repairing the coating, the damaged part needs to be thoroughly treated to ensure that the repair coating is well combined with the original coating.
Repair material: Select repair material that matches the original coating and operate according to the recommendations of the coating supplier.
Repair scope: For coatings damaged by adhesion test, repair should be carried out according to specifications.
3. Maintenance cycle
Daily maintenance: Inspect the appearance of the tank every month to check whether there are abnormal conditions such as deformation, dents, bulges or cracks on the surface of the tank.
Internal inspection: Clean and inspect the inside of the tank every 6 months to 1 year to remove possible sediments or impurities inside.
Coating maintenance: According to the damage of the coating, timely partial or overall coating repair.
4. Environmental adaptability
Special environment: In high humidity, high salt spray or highly corrosive gas environment, the maintenance cycle of the coating should be appropriately shortened.
Coating protection: During tank cleaning or maintenance, measures should be taken to protect the coating and avoid mechanical damage.
5. Recording and management
Establishment of files: The user unit should establish an anti-corrosion management file for F Style can, recording the use of the coating, maintenance history and previous corrosion investigations.
Data recording: After each inspection and maintenance, the relevant data should be recorded in detail to analyze the service life and maintenance effect of the coating.
