What is the regular inspection cycle for F-Style cans?
Oct 29, 2025
1. Routine Inspection Cycle
Initial Inspection: Newly commissioned F-Style cans must complete their first regular inspection within three years.
Subsequent Inspection Cycles:
Safety Level 1-2: Generally, inspections are conducted every six years.
Safety Level 3: If defects requiring monitoring are found, the inspection cycle is shortened to three to six years.
Safety Level 4-5: Immediate repair or scrapping is required, with the inspection cycle determined by the inspection agency.
2. Special Cases Required for Shorter Inspection Cycles
Corrosive media (such as wet H₂S): Inspections are recommended every one to two years.
Extended Use: Containers exceeding their design life require annual inspections. For those over 20 years of use, internal and external inspections are required at least annually.
Abnormal Conditions: If severe corrosion, deformation, or leakage is observed, the can should be immediately removed from service and an inspection requested.
3. Inspection Content and Requirements
Annual Inspection: Users are required to conduct a self-inspection at least once a year, including appearance and safety accessories. Comprehensive inspection: This includes macro inspection, thickness measurement, non-destructive testing, etc., and must be carried out by a professional organization.
