1. Structural damage and leakage risk: Insufficient thickness significantly reduces the can's resistance to deformation and impact, making it prone to cracking during stacking. Even minor bumps during transportation can cause perforations and weld cracks, directly leading to paint leakage, material waste, and on-site pollution.
2. Corrosion failure risk: With excessively thin metal cans, even slight wear on the inner anti-corrosion layer allows for rapid erosion by solvents in the paint, resulting in rust spots and perforations within a short time. This not only significantly shortens the can's lifespan but also contaminates the internal paint, causing it to lose its performance.
3. Safety accident risk: Thin cans used to hold flammable and explosive paints cannot meet the safety requirements for pressure resistance and explosion prevention. During storage or pressurized operations, they are prone to bulging and bursting, causing material leakage, fires, and other safety accidents, threatening personnel safety.
4. Compliance Acceptance Risks: Paint cans that do not meet the thickness standards will fail the safety inspection for hazardous chemical packaging. They will be directly deemed unqualified during the project acceptance process, resulting in additional losses such as rework and returns. They may also be investigated and punished by relevant departments for not complying with transportation regulations.
