1. Insufficient structural strength and susceptibility to breakage: Cans that are not thick enough are easily deformed by the pressure of upper cans during stacking, and their welds may crack. Even minor bumps during transport can cause dents and perforations, directly leading to paint leakage, material waste, and on-site pollution.
2. Significantly reduced corrosion resistance: The inner anti-corrosion layer of an excessively thin metal can is quickly eroded by solvents in the paint, resulting in rust spots and perforations within a short time. This not only significantly shortens the can's lifespan but also contaminates the paint stored inside, affecting its performance.
3. Significant safety hazards: Paint cans used for storing flammable and explosive materials in pressurized spraying scenarios, if insufficiently thick, cannot meet the safety requirements for pressure resistance and explosion prevention. During operation, they are prone to bulging and bursting, causing material leakage, fires, and other safety accidents, failing to meet the compliance standards for hazardous chemical packaging. 4. Poor durability and adaptability: Thin tanks are prone to local stress cracking after long-term use, making them unsuitable for the long-term storage of highly corrosive and high-viscosity coatings. They also have difficulty passing relevant safety tests, and are easily deemed unqualified during the project acceptance process, resulting in rework losses.
