1. Air Drying
Place the can upside down or tilted in a well-ventilated area (such as a windowsill) to allow air flow to accelerate evaporation. This method is suitable for non-urgent use and usually takes 2-3 hours.
2. Air Drying
Use a hair dryer on the cold setting or a portable clothes dryer and blow air through the can opening for 10-15 minutes. Maintain a safe distance to avoid deformation of plastic or metal cans caused by high temperatures.
3. Heat-Assisted Drying
Hot air from a hair dryer: Suitable for heat-resistant glass cans. Maintain a temperature below 50°C for 5 minutes to avoid excessive temperatures that could affect the can's accuracy.
Oven Drying: If the can is made of heat-resistant material (such as tinplate), place it in a 50°C oven for 30 minutes. Avoid using cans with solid glass stoppers.
4. Organic Solvent-Assisted Drying
Rinse the inside of the can with a small amount of ethanol or acetone, shake well, and pour out the mixture. Then dry it with a hair dryer. This method can accelerate the evaporation of moisture, but attention should be paid to ventilation and fire prevention.
